


Just going through old photos and posting anything decent, chronology be damned.
Anyway, the 69er drain, probably the 69th drain found by the Melbourne Cave Clan, otherwise its just a weird name. This is one of, if not, my favourite drain in Melbourne. It's one of melbournes older drains, starting life as a bluestone open canal, it was covered by more bluestone and redbrick. Downstream it turns into newer slippery plastic before splitting into two concrete box sections, often clogged with yummy smelling river mud. I need to get back down to get the red brick, plastic and concrete bits, enjoy ye olde bluestone for now
